## Liquified Creative Expands with New Communications Associate

## Shelby Collinson has recently joined the Liquified Creative crew as the new Communications Associate.


Shelby is a recent graduate of West Virginia University. She completed her time thereby earning a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, specifically focusing on Strategic Communications and a Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.

Prior to starting her position with Liquified Creative, Shelby previously worked for an array of companies throughout various fields ranging from music retail to engineering. In each position she has held, Shelby has helped these companies to integrate strategic communications into their marketing initiatives and daily operations.

Outside of marketing and advertising, Shelby is passionate about involving herself in nonprofit work as well as supporting her local community. You can find her volunteering for all sorts of fundraisers and events such as A Night to Shine and Fish for a Cure.

Her offline passion is her two fur-babies Wrigley (Boxer) and Paco (Long-haired Chihuahua). If not working, volunteering, or attending fundraising events, you can find Shelby immersing herself into the local culture by visiting new museums and art exhibits. She also likes to take full advantage of living right outside of D.C. by visiting museums whenever she has a free day… if she’s not already sitting on the beach reading a book.
