Meet Our Summer Interns

June 13, 2019

Liquified Creative had brought on two social media marketing interns for the summer, Tricia Oxford and Sarah Alonso.

Tricia currently attends Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA where she majors in Business, Organizations, and Society with a concentration in Marketing. She will be a senior in the fall and is extremely interested in pursuing a career in brand strategy and development after graduation. Prior to her time with Liquified Creative, she interned at Blue Cielo ECM Solutions, now Accruent, working on lead generation projects using their CRM database.

For the past five years, Tricia has owned her own photography business where she focuses heavily on photographing graduations, families, and mostly second-shoot weddings with other Maryland photographers. While on campus, she is in charge of her sorority’s social media and website communications.

Additionally, she recently returned from spending 5 months studying business abroad in Vienna, Austria. In her free time, she loves to be out on the water and also spend time brewing beer with her dad.

Not only is she fun, interesting, and hard-working, but her background and wealth of experience have been a great addition to the Liquified Creative team.

Our other intern, Sarah, has also been a wonderful asset to our team this summer. In the fall, she will be starting her senior year at Towson University, where she studies Public Relations and Advertising.

Throughout her educational experience, Sarah has explored every one of her interests, ranging from marine biology to interior design. She then decided to start her journey studying Public Relations and Advertising and has loved every minute of it so far.

“I’m so glad to have this internship because it’s an opportunity to develop new skills and understand what it is like to work in this industry. I grew up in Arnold so downtown has always been my ‘backyard’—which makes working here even better.”

Her previous work experience includes job responsibilities such as office administration, serving as a student aid for special education, hospitality, and retail. Specifically, her time working at Michael Kors is what drove her to apply for this internship. As a sales associate, her job was to sell the product and develop relationships with customers. The one-to-one client relations, brand reputation management, among other factors, are aspects of her job that influenced her pursuit towards the marketing and advertising field.

As a full-time student, her time is limited–so when she’s not working or busy with school, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to amusement parks, and any outdoor activity.

Sarah and Tricia are continuing to learn and grow with the help of every member of our crew. Their assistance on projects and enthusiasm to learn has been a constant contributor to the positive energy around the office. We’re excited to see how their internship continues to progress, what they will learn, and where they go in the future.
