Q & A

Q: What is a fun fact about you?

While I was studying abroad, I traveled to Interlaken, Switzerland and went paragliding and night sledding in the swiss alps! It was one of the most thrilling things I have ever done!

Q: Recent adventures- Have you traveled or studied abroad recently?

I just got back from studying abroad in Barcelona. While I was there, I was able to travel to London, Italy, Portugal, and Switzerland!

Q: Describe yourself in three words. Why those three words?

Hard-working, outgoing, and adventurous.

Q: What do you enjoy most about agency life?

I enjoy getting to work and collaborate with other people. I also enjoy directly seeing the work we do and how it positively impacts the clients and their brand!

Q: What are the differences between what you have learned in the classroom compared to what you are learning here?

In the classroom, you are learning the fundamental concepts and terms when it comes to marketing and also analyzing different companies and their strategies. However, when working at Liquified Creative, you are applying your classroom knowledge to the real-world setting and constantly developing new skills and experience in the industry.

Q: Moving forward, what will you be looking for in a job when you graduate, and what kind of career might you seek out?

I am seeking a career in the marketing and advertising field. I love working and collaborating with other people and always being presented with new challenges or opportunities!

Q: What advice would you give to a future intern?

I think the most important piece of advice is to always have an open mind when learning about different tasks and assignments. Also, being ready for any challenge and not to be afraid to ask for help to make sure you’re on the right track. It is ok if you do not know how to do something at first, just put your best foot forward and try to learn the best you can!

Q: What do you do in your free time?

During my free time, I love to spend time with my friends and family. In the summer, the beach is my happy place- I love to spend long days on the water and I appreciate a great sunset! When the weather isn’t so great, I enjoy baking and testing new recipes and am always in the mood to binge a few ‘Friends’ episodes!

Q: What do you enjoy most about agency life?

In school, I found that you have a set curriculum for your major and may not have much choice in the classes you take. However, I’m learning through this internship that I have more choice in what I’m learning and the tasks I complete can be centered around my specific interests.

Q: What do you do in your free time?

I’ve always been the type of person to have very little free time- you can usually find me boating, going to the beach, snowboarding, playing soccer, spending time with my friends, binge-watching The Office, and finding places to eat good food. In addition to my intern position, I have also been serving at Chad’s BBQ in Edgewater for about 3 years!
