It’s a Shore Thing.
The project aimed to develop three distinct covers to promote Visit Queen Anne’s County on the Eastern Shore in Maryland. The overarching illustration style reflected and nod to vintage American travel posters while representing everything that Queen Anne’s County has to offer to travelers and locals alike.
Liquified’s designers met with the Visit Queen Anne’s County team and identified three specific official guides to be designed and illustrated. These guides include culinary, outdoor living, and an official visitors guide. The goal was to design the guides so that they could be displayed as a group or as standalone guides.
Three distinct 2024 covers were designed, and when placed side-by-side, they created a full illustration that encompassed and represented everything that Queen Anne’s County has to offer visitors. It also included key landmarks across the region. These guides also included an illustrated map of landmarks on the back of each guide, which were used to promote Visit Queen Anne’s County and tourism in the area.
