Part-Time Graphic Designer

Location: Sarasota, Florida
We are looking to bring on a Part-time Graphic Designer to join our Creative team at our Sarasota, Florida office.
Reporting to Liquified’s Creative Director, you’ll be responsible for creating and editing graphics, ads, and images for a variety of media to be used in print, digital, and video.
You’ll be expected to be a detail-oriented creative problem solver who possess an understanding of prepress and production standards.

Core Responsibilities:

Support the creative team with layout, design, and production
Accurately resize ads for print and digital campaigns
Prepare and prepress files prior to going to a publication or printer
Resize graphics and ad layouts
Retouch/edit graphics and digital images
Follow project workflow and adhere to project deadlines
Accurately proof files and materials
Assess project details and create a final product that adheres to those requirements
Create graphics for social media
Capture imagery for social media
Create short-form video content for social media
Follow brand guidelines
Incorporate feedback to improve designs
Team Collaboration – You’ll work alongside the creative, marketing, and web teams.

Qualifications

Graduates with relevant degrees in design are desirable. Ad agency or print shop experience are also highly valued.

One-two years of advertising agency or printer experience is preferred
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) on a Mac
Evidence of design, layout and prepress
Comprehensive understanding of printing and print production
Foundational and applied understanding of design principles
Effective organization and planning skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects
Ability to multitask
Must be confident, vocal, proactive, highly motivated, and eager to learn
Attention to detail and ability to proof
